At Villa Maria, we strive to provide clear and transparent information to help guests determine whether the property is suitable for their individual needs.
Please note that Villa Maria was not originally designed as a fully accessible accommodation. However, it may be suitable for some guests with limited mobility or for wheelchair users traveling with assistance.
Guests traveling with a wheelchair user or a person with mobility limitations are strongly encouraged to review our video presentation and photographs carefully before booking. These provide a clear view of the access routes, ramp, entrances, indoor spaces, and outdoor areas, helping guests make an informed decision.
Step-Free Access to the Ground Floor
The property features a spacious private parking area with space for 4–5 vehicles. From the parking area, guests can reach the house via a ramp approximately 30 meters (98 feet) long, with an average incline of nearly 12% and a level landing/rest area in the middle. There are no steps along this route.
The main entrance door is 95 cm (37.4 inches) wide.
Accessible Ground-Floor Living Areas
The entire ground floor can be accessed without using stairs and includes:
- Gaming room with a large sofa bed
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Indoor dining area
- Spacious living room
- Guest toilet
The kitchen, dining area, and living room feature an open-plan layout with wide passageways and ample space for movement throughout the ground floor.
The gaming room also has a separate exterior entrance from the outdoor dining and kitchen area, providing an additional step-free access point.
Large sliding glass doors connect the living room, kitchen, and indoor dining area directly to the terrace and swimming pool area, creating wide and unobstructed passageways between the indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Bathroom Facilities
Please note that there is no shower or full bathroom on the ground floor, only a toilet.
The toilet is not equipped with accessibility features such as grab bars, and the property does not include a roll-in shower or other facilities specifically designed for wheelchair users.
An outdoor shower with both hot and cold water is available next to the swimming pool.
